“Draw the ocean”
Fifteen school classes from the French speaking part of Switzerland were eager to take part in Antinea’s drawing contest “Man and the Oceans”. Launched last fall, during the Olympic week in Lausanne, the contest was opened to students from age 10 to 14. They were asked to produce an original drawing or painting (90 cm x 90cm poster), illustrating any links between mankind and the marine environment. The winning class will be invited to embark on the “Fleur de Passion” for a weekend, to discover the orld of sailing and the marine environment.
Members of the jury include two patrons of the Antinea Foundation, the actress Maria Metral and Zep, creator of Titeuf. The results will soon be decided and in the next “journal of the seas” the winning picture will be printed along with a selection of the other entries.
