The protection of the Oceans represents a problem of immense complexity. Many projects already exist but no single organisation is able to cover every aspect of the situation.

The Antinea Foundation works on the basis that organizations working towards the same objectives should not be in competition with each other. For this reason the Foundation does not intend to mount its own projects but, rather support ongoing projects.

Acting as a catalyst, the Foundation provides support and reinforcement for its partner NGO’s, creating synergies within its own network allowing projects on a local level to have an impact internationally. Providing an interface to encourage the exchange of information between its partners therby optimising the available resources.

Finally, Antinea will promote its partners projects at each of Fleur de Passion’s stopovers during the expedition.
