Become a partner as a scientific laboratory
Ambassador of the oceans, Antinea seeks to better understand how they function, their ecosystems and how they are affected by mankind’s activities. In order to do this, the Foundation provides a logistical platform for its scientific partners. The expedition will enable certain laboratories the following possibilities:
- To carry out projects onboard Fleur de Passion, which would not otherwise be possible:
- Fleur de Passion will be able to travel to remote locations.
- Allowing flexibility and maneuverability that would not be possible on a larger oceanographic ship.
- Allowing the cost of projects to be reduced by using an existing infrastructure.
- To carry out projects over a wide geographical area, collecting data, possibly throughout the entire expedition.
- To benefit from the network and synergies put in place by the Foundation, including coordination with partners working on similar projects.
- To inform the public and explain the projects, results, significance etc. in layman’s terms.
