Renewable energy resources

The amount of available energy in the oceans is virtually inexhaustible and generates no waste or greenhouse gases. Wind, hydro, solar, wave or tidal energies are naturally renewed, but limited in the amount (of energy) available per unit of time. Storing and converting these energies to generate electricity is technically possible with today’s processes. Antinea is willing to test some of the newest technologies onboard (solar panels and sails, kiteship traction).
