Underwater archaeology

Many human underwater vestiges remain unexplored and as such have a potential to reveal a great deal of useful information about ancient civilizations. UNESCO is involved in the protection of underwater heritage sites, found beyond the territorial zones, from plundering. Sanctuaries are created around these sites and Antinea will underline their importance to the general public.

Projects to be carried out onboard:

  • The Atlantide, Straits of Gibraltar,
  • The Mediterranean prehistoric caves,
  • The antics submerged, Greece,
  • The Renaissance galions, Corsica.
